INVECS 'Smart Logic'
The INVECS (Intelligent and Innovative Vehicle Electronic Control System) 'Smart Logic' improves performance by automatically switching between logic controls. An onboard computer learns and adapts to a driver’s preferences by recording engine and foot braking data. The control logic then adapts the automatic gearshift timing to suit that driver's style, while minimising torque function fluctuation. Sports Mode, on the other hand, allows the driver to flick the gear shift sideways and then start shifting up and down gears, enjoying the performance of a slick, clutch-less manual or return to the convenience of an automatic.
Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)
CVT is an automatic transmission electronically integrated with the MIVEC engine to ensure your vehicle is always operating in the best gear ratio. CVT offers infinitely variable ratios that allow the engine to always operate at optimum rpm, irrespective of speed - and also ensures a smooth transition between gears.
Sports Mode
Sports mode offers the ease and convenience of an automatic or the control and flexibility of a clutch-less manual. And no clutch means you don’t lose revs or torque.
Smart Key
Smart Key is Mitsubishi’s advanced security transmitter, which means completely key-less operation. Smart Key, available in top-end Lancer and Outlander models, can recognise the key occupant within a 70cm radius. So, you can lock and unlock the doors, open the boot and even start the engine, all whilst the Smart Key is still tucked in your pocket or bag. The days of searching and fumbling for keys are no longer.
Dusk Sensing Headlamps
Found within Lancer, Outlander and Pajero models, Dusk Sensing Headlamps do the thinking for you so you can stay focused on the road at all times. Your lights automatically come on when it gets dark outside or when you’re travelling through a tunnel.
Auto Rain Sensing Wipers
Various Lancer, Outlander and Pajero models come equipped with Rain Sensing Wipers. A sensor automatically detects moisture on the windscreen, and according to the amount of rain present, the system will activate the wipers at the appropriate speed.
